Mary Shelly was Assistant Director of Computational Services at SESYNC from 2012 to 2018. She is currently the Director of IT in the School of Public Health and Director of Research Data Science in the College of Behavioral and Social Science at the University of Maryland. She leads technology teams and works with campus partners to ensure a secure and reliable computing infrastructure for research, teaching, and administrative needs. She is passionate about helping researchers harness the potential of rapidly evolving computing technologies for discovery and innovation.
